I have loved music from an early age and started work at the tender age of 17 as a roadie for a DJ.
After a few years out on the road I had learnt basic DJ skills and was keen to hit the road on my own so in 1988 started to DJ at local gigs, weddings, birthdays and any other excuses to have a party!
Then after working with other DJ’s in the area I started doing more gigs at bars, pubs, clubs, hotels in and around the U.K. and even abroad.
Soon I had made many new contacts with agents, DJ’s, bands and venue managers that I went full time into being a DJ. I was even given a funny nickname “Jamie Jingles” as I am now known!
In recent years I have started working on the radio, so the story continues!
You can catch Jamie every Saturday night between 8 p.m. and midnight for All Hit Radio’s party night.
